Rules for Drop-in Play
1. Wristbands must be purchased BEFORE entering the field area and worn throughout your drop-in session
2. NO OUTDOOR CLEATS
3. No Slide Tackling
4. No Gum Allowed in the field area, BY PLAYERS OR SPECTATORS
5. No Hanging on ANY Netting (Goals or protective nets)
6. If the number of players allows, the large field(s) will be utilized.
7. There are two (2) game formats for Drop-in Soccer:
(A) First Goal Wins - Team that scores the first goal wins the game, stays on the field and faces the next opponent.
(B) Seven Minute Game - Teams play for seven minutes (timer is used for this). The team that is in the lead when the timer expires is the winner and faces the next opponent. If the game is tied when the timer expires, BOTH teams are replaced with two new teams.
8. NO SPITTING OR NASAL DISCHARGE ON THE FIELDS OR FLOORS
9. No fighting or dirty play allowed
10. Shirts MUST be worn at all times while on the property
11. Shin Guards MUST be worn by ALL participants playing soccer
12. With the exception of Goalies, No long pants. No jeans allowed at any time
13. No Profanity or Obscenity - Visual or Verbal. This includes foul or abusive language in English, Spanish, French or ANY other foreign language
Drop-in can and may be stopped for any reason or no reason at all WITHOUT ISSUING A REFUND after drop-in has reached the "One Hour" mark. Greenbelt Sportsplex, it's owners and employees reserved the right to refuse admittance to ANYONE for past or current Violation of the Rules. Further we reserve the right to remove a player from the field of play for any past or current Violation of the Rules.
